Tims Fush 'n' Chup Ride

TiNo Boring Bits - Hamiltons Social Cyclists even on the road!m's Fush 'n' Chup ride set off from the carpark at Mitre 10 in Te Rapa on route to Raglan where we'd meet up with our ever so supportive support crew and sit down for a feast of Fish and Chips while watching the sunset and exchanging stories.

Great start to the ride with Cookie and Ingrid finding the pace a bit too hard so had to had to pull ahead so as not to fall asleep with us 'more social' riders. Seven took to the blackstuff and for some it was quite a monumentus task as it would be their biggest road ride ever and with a HUGE hill in the middle of it - but with good uphill theres an equal and opposite downhill so redemption for a few minutes there anyway. Halfway up the hill it was so cool to see some supporters on the side of the road cheering the riders on - thanks guys you're great!

Bit of a problem a few km's out of Raglan when a puncture was then followed by a broken valve so the sag wagon was called and the last few km's for a couple of us were a lot more cruisy than others.

As for the Fish and Chips - well we said we'd never talk of that again but try to imagine riding over then having to wait an hour for your order to be cooked, apparently the friers were on Raglan Time.

Thanks for the ride Tim and again to all our cool supporters.
