Hotel ibis Bike the Lake

The Hotel ibis Bike the Lake Rotorua is a scenic, yet challenging cycle ride around the undulating terrain that is the perimeter of Lake Rotorua.

The individual based event will comprise one lap (42KM) of the lake for novice and recreational riders or two laps (84km) for the more advanced riders.

NEW THIS YEAR EXTREME ENDURO for nutcases and psychos!

They are delighted to announce the addition of an 8 lap 1280km Extreme Enduro category for 2010 only. INSANE!

If we have enough interest we can book our bach which is available but need to have expressions of interest now or very soon please.

Riders can choose solo, endurance or relay challenges based around a 160 km circumnavigation of Lake Taupo and the event has recently added a range of mountain bike challenges to complement the road events.

While the event is largely non competitive and caters for every level of rider it does offer three race options for elite cyclists.
